It is a great pleasure to welcome you all to our second Internationel Court of Justice in SBMBNU 2019. I am really eager to be the president to one of the most exciting and interesting committees where the most passionate and motivated participants exist. Being a judge will increase your questioning skills thus it will widen your perspective and open a new window to your sense of justice. Being an advocate will improve your teamwork, survey and defence abilities.
The International Court of Justice was established in 1945 to serve as the principal judicial organ of the United Nations. It takes place in The Hague, Netherlands. The official languages are French and English so does the ICJ in SBMBNU utilises both of them. This year in our court we will rediscuss an curicial subject which is the whaling in Antartic between Australia and Japan. As the court, we will devote our 3 days to deliver the final verdict based on witness testimonies and evidences, to the General Assembly.
Each year, with its hard working advocates, equitable judges, and an experienced Presidency, the ICJ in SBMBNU improves its standarts.
Looking forward to meet you all in May.
PRESIDENT OF THE ICJ
